Nepali is the main and official language of Nepal. However, there are about 92 different ethnic languages spoken around the country. Students learn English in school and also speak well – basic to fluent.
Nepal experiences all kinds of weather depending upon the elevation and geographical location. The southern part has sub-tropical climate; middle part experiences moderate and the northern Himalayan region has an alpine climate. From March to August, the temperature increases with the monsoon in June, July, and August. And from September to February, the temperature falls towards freezing point.
When you are in Nepal, you can use road or air transportation to go to the places you plan to visit. When you are in your planned city, you can also use taxis, tourist vehicles or public vehicles. However, public vehicles have a heavy crowd and uncomfortable to go around.
Nepal offers varieties of delicious foods. Most common Nepali food you find is Nepali thali that is a platter of rice, vegetable, lentils, curry, pickle etc. You can also find MoMo everywhere. There are several other authentic Nepali foods, which you can find if you explore deeper into the local areas and alleys.
